"Tucked away in the Dutch underground of the early 80’s a young Hessel Veldman created his own music world in the small industrial sea town of Ijmuiden. It was a world recorded on tapes and reels. A world where things happened according to personal logic based on sonic exploration, electronic sounds and improvisation. The approach was intimate, at times light-hearted, but often following deep inner contemplation and total immersion in the creative process. Above all, music was made according to the Do-It-Yourself principle of the home-taping culture."

Compilation of 12 unreleased Arthur Russell tracks, originally released in 2004.Material here was derived from two main sources - the first being the 1985 LP 'Corn' and the second from an album AR recorded for Rough Trade between 1986 and 1990. The record contains a unique mix of tracks ranging from AR singing and playing Cello (solo) to more leftfield rock / pop oriented tracks with drum machines. Features some of the man's best work, including killer tracks 'You and Me Both', 'That's Us / Wild Combination', and 'Get Around To It'. Knotpop is a lost album of deviant new wave San Fransisco duo IXNA. Like Brian Eno and The Flying Lizards, the album is a sideways and inverted take on pop music. Jay Cloidt and Marina La Palma were students of David Behrman and Robert Ashley at Mills College, inspired by their infamously irreverent faculty to nudge the avant-garde out of its stuffy tweed and into something more exciting, something clad in denim & leather. Recorded at the Center For Contemporary Music at Mills in 1981, the album combines Cloidt's studio wizardry, sampling abilities and vibrant bass with La Palma’s expressive vocals, and love of made-up and invented languages (Esperanto).
