Efficient Space is a Melbourne-based record label, founded by Michael Kucyk, also known as Noise In My Head, in 2012. In our opinion, THE most important Australian record label in recent times... they specialise in reissuing + releasing leftfield/ overlooked music from Australia + beyond, across a wide range of genres, including electronic, experimental, ambient, new wave + post-punk. Many of Efficient Space's releases focus on music from the 1980s + 1990s, particularly from the Australian underground music scene.

The label is known for its meticulous curation, their releases often feature extensive liner notes + archival material, providing context + insight into the music and artists featured.
